7.5M HQ Apex 3 for Backcountry Kiting

Post by sstarch1 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 4:01 pm

Hey all,

Just doing a quick sanity check that a 7.5m Apex 3 will be "enough" kite to get me going in the powdered backcountry in Tahoe? I'm thinking its usually blowing pretty good on the ridgelines and 7.5 should be enough to get me uphill?

Thoughts?

Its my kite thats for sale, it actually measures out to be a 8m kite and has more bottom end than an Apex II, great range, very stable with good power and predictable delivery. Hope that helps

I had and Apex II 7.5 that I used to kitebuggy with. Great kite. Quick setup and good power. I have never kited on the snow but I think it would be a good size for it.
