Has anyone kitesurfed the flooded areas south of the causeway between Davis and Sacramento? It is currently flooded from the rain.

We had two windsurfers trying about 2 years ago. They were promptly collected by fish and game and cited. There are some lines and shitty obstacles there.

Closest thing to it is (I'm still laying claim with pictures and witnesses) the port of Sacramento that I believe I have been the first to kite 3 years ago.

Wednesday, I checked it out from the West side but there was a lot of debris near shore so I decided to kite in a pond adjacent to the levee next to the Yolo Fruit Stand and Highway 80.

Later on I saw 1 or 2 guys in the middle of the bypass, I think they launched from the east side.

Really fun, local (Davis) session!
