HIGH PRESSURE AT THE SURFACE AND ALOFT WILL GIVE WAY TO A STORM SYSTEM WORKING ITS WAY TOWARD THE AREA FROM THE NORTHWEST. THIS SYSTEM WILL BEGIN TO AFFECT THE NORTHERN COASTAL WATERS BY MIDDAY TUESDAY AS LARGER WAVES...STRONG WIND AND RAIN MOVE INTO THE AREA. THE ADVERSE WEATHER WILL MOVE INTO THE HEART OF THE BAY AREA IN THE AFTERNOON THEN INTO THE SOUTHERN COASTAL WATERS TUESDAY EVENING. THE SEAS WILL SUBSIDE ON WEDNESDAY...BUT WINDS WILL REMAIN MODERATELY STRONG THROUGH THE WEEK.
