Hellfish Sighting

Post by timm » Thu Jun 09, 2005 11:31 am

Look for a Best Hellfish at the finish line tonight at the Thursday Night Kites. Give it a go if you get a chance (if they'll let you). Good winds.

Pipedragon,
I have to agree with you, Timm's post sort of sounds like the best kite will finish first. Something tells me that the Caution crew doesn't want to lose to the new best kite.

I was very surprised. I ran up and groped the kite (I saw other people do it too!).

For some reason I had the idea that it would feel like mylar, but it felt more like a light tarp. LE was super small too.

I was surprised when I took a look at the kite as well. The best way I can describe it is that it looked like a combination of a racing sail and tin foil (in a good way :)). The LE in particular looked really well put together and durable.

Now if only had hadn't been blowing 20+ all afternoon we could have seen its light wind ability...

I don't think so.

It was a 13.

Hopefully the guy who has it will post more details on where it will be and such.
