Yesterday I flew a 7m and a 126cm board at 3rd... and stayed upwind... While I was out, I was the only kite on the water

BTW - I weigh 220 lbs...

Way gusty and heavy at SI yesterday pm, too. When I came in it was gusting to 30. I was on a 10. Some other folks did a downwinder to Windy Cove, and when they came out of the wwater it was 33 gusting to 38.

I think I'll wait for thermal wind to return.

I have to disagree with all of you....it was not gusty, just strong. I was @ SI and had a blast on 12/10/8 different times of the day You just need to know what kite to rig and how to use your board when the bigger puffs arrive.

Good times were had by all.

Later, Z.
