Does anyone kiteboard at Ocean Beach? Any info about that spot?

A guy recently drowned there with his kite. It's not a beginner's spot and requires a significant amount of experience navigating very rough waters.

It's Pismo on steroids and sometimes a little pissed off. Check with locals and rig right. I was there the day Scott died, it was a twice a year super knarly day. Check www.ob-kc.com for current stats. March and April are consistent.
