Looking for someone to ride with....

I am looking for an experienced beginner to ride with. I cannot convince any of my friends to get into kitesurfing. I would feel much safer if someone else at least knew I was in the water. I am going to Alameda today. I have not kitesurfed since last November.
Let me know if you are in the same situation.

Stats:
Kitesurfed approx. 20 times (still barely able to make it upwind)
Prefer Alameda but have gone to 3rd Ave. about 5 times.
