I don't understand the need for this. I also never understood the inflatable go jo. Maybe I am old fashioned but when I started kiting I learned how to body drag first before anything else. Nothing more comforting than knowing you are able to body drag back to your board if you need to. No need for go jo or anything else. And yes - if you are a beginner don't go alone!

Re: 2011 Ocean Rodeo Go Joe Pro Prototype - Feedback Wanted!
Ocean Rodeo has two best products on the market targeted specifically for beginners: 4-line inflatable 2m trainer kite, and GoJoe =D>
It's almost impossible to convince an experienced kiter to buy gear from another brand. That's why it's very important what brand beginners start with. It makes perfect sense why OR wants to improve their famous GoJoe.
The interesting thing about GoJoe is that some people who have kited for years still use them. This so-called "low-profile" version would be just what they need as I am sure many of them don't want to look like beginners. So I think this product is targeted specifically for them - non-beginner GoJoe kiters. If after several years they still haven't figured out how to body-drag to their board, they certainly won't spend $230 on a body-dragging lesson. For the rest of us, this product indeed looks like a joke :)

Do you think this will work for a strapless surf board? If so count me in

Funny thing is, if I see someone struggling to get their board I ALWAYS go help them... UNLESS there's a Go-Joe on there since I can't carry a board with that crazy thing on it.

Putting "Pro" in the name seems like a bit of a misnomer. Considering the target audience and its usage, how about calling it "Sloppy Joe"? Think about it ....

Like shooting fish in a barrel...
Hello Adam and Ramsey: Isn't a regular GoJoe already basically an inflatable sign saying "I'M A BEGINNER PLEASE HELP ME and/or STAY OUT OF MY WAY" ???
To the rider with the GoJoe on their strapless surfboard...you're definitely missing the point ](*,)
GoJoePro is an oxymoron.
