Are you buying or selling gear?

I just posted a bunch of my kites from late last year in the
Kite classifieds section of this site. I noticed that there is a lot of used and slightly used gear including some good packages for sale. A lot of prices seem pretty good for both the buyer and seller.
My question is, has anyone bought or sold anything here? Is everyone happy with what they are getting for less than year old kites?

Gabe,
That's a good question. There's been a steady flow of stuff listed, but as far as the outcome of anything, I have no idea. Most ads can be listed with a time duration, so they expire after a certain amount of time. It would be interesting to know how people have fared.

Ollie when you first started this site I bought a new slingshot 9m kite, and I also bought your harness. Very happy with both. I'm selling a 12m gaastra GXR if anyone is interested. Great jumper

I looked for a board and didn't find something that suites me, if I can't get something tomorrow in the swap meet I buy from a store.

Sold my 04 gear on IKITE after a few weeks for about a third of retail. The second guy that showed up bought it all so the prices must have been pretty good I guess.

Yes, Ikite does have effective classifieds, I've sold quite a bit of gear there. Kind of a pain to always have to ship everything out, but whatever works.

I've purchased 2 kites from the ikitesurf website. One was local and the other was oregon so the guy shipped me the kite. I got great deals on both kites!! I will be using the site to sell some of my gear soon.
