30 seconds of kiting on TV

Post by bdawg » Sun May 22, 2005 10:10 pm

tune your tv to TLC at 6pm (if you have satelite) or 9pm on wednesday. It is within the last 5 minutes of the show.

Dude is kiting at what looks like kite beach Maui?? and tries to show off for the crowd. Loses his edge on the board and gets 20+ feet of air to a sweet shoulder plant on the rocks. The guy is pretty much unhurt. I loved the guy being interviewed by the camera and someone off camera says to him "Dude you need to get a helmet".

just thought i'd pass it on.

And yet so accurate...

Still a handful of hotshots getting air just 50 feet off the beach at Sherman, directly upwind of the beach. I guess they can't read (the guidelines) or see (the buoys).

I think you can find that footage on the web. I know I have seen it somewhere.

As you know Brian I sometimes forget important details, so yes the show is "sport disasters."
