But Alameda was blowing even more! I was well-lit on an 8m for some time and super lit on a 10m. One idea is to get as much as you can at Alameda in the Spring when it can really blow and move elsewhere later, which will be required. But what you did sounds fun too. :)

Pt. Emerito delivered the goods today. Solid wind all the way to the shore. nice rollers, not crowded. good times were had by all.

Good winds, Zeev.

I'll second Hana's "why is it always Monday"

Did anyone make it to SI today? It must have been a superlit, 8M day. Sunny, too.

Hey Dewey, did you get to try that 8M Outrage finally?

Yesterday at SI was all over the map, at least by 3 pm. when I got there.

Hey Paul

Yep I got to try the 8m. It was too gusty for me. I know I'm a wimp. It was like 15-30++ with holes everywhere. I was out for about 20 min. before giving up. Nobody was able to stay out long. Not a fun day at sherman. Maybe tomorrow will be more steady.

So what is with those holes, anyway? On Sun. pm. it seemed like the only place there was wind was right in front of the beach. Everytime you came back thinking you're gonna give up this time, your kite would fill and power you up -- "this is it, it's finally on". Then you'd go back out and have the same thing happen.

I guess Alameda was the spot yesterday...
