Re: Future of wind power?This could actually work. And as a bonus, when you burn hydrogen you get fresh water as a byproduct, water shortages being the next great crisis. (making the water byproduct useable is "just" an engineering problem) The energy loss rates are huge at each stage, but are 100% clean after the initial manufacturing/setup costs.
(damn there are some ignorant commenters on wired.com--almost as bad as youtube)
