baja peninsula driving? My girlfriend and I are staying with family in San Diego for Christmas and then we're planning a two week road trip down to La Ventana. We've got time, but not a lot of cash. I've heard lot's of B.A.K. head down there, although probably a lot of you fly. Does anyone have some advice about places to stay or things to check out/avoid on the way down? We're planning three days to drive from San Diego to LV.
Re: baja peninsula driving?Hay Bra-
We're heading down soon ourselves.. I did it last year with my girl, for her it was old hat, for me a first time. We drove it in two days, driving 90mph pretty often.. Our hotel was OK.... I'll try to get Torauni to give you the name.. Anyway the road was in good shape all the way down.. If you take a side trip along the way- You'll need to be pretty self sufficient.. Enjoy- L.M.G.
