Id say go to the race track first
to get a test of the fluky wind we have in the east bay
berkeley is kind a like crissy but ad rocks and a freeway
and take away the sand

well at least there was wind at the launch ... quite small i need to admit - the launch - not the wind.

in Albany the horse race track just follow your nose to get to the bench
behind the track
off gilmen st,lots of room
some rocks ,just as funny wind
and now ,some locals to share the stoke...

If you don't see any kites in the air at pt emery, chances are that there are much better and safer places to kite. The possibility of having to swim in is pretty high if you don't know what to look for and the rocks + road, followed by a freeway just sucks.

And if you do see kites, there's no parking.
