Re: any bet for this weekend ?what about berkeley ? never kited over there ... yet ... is it good on SW flow ? easier than swimming in and out at Crissy ?
Re: any bet for this weekend ?Id say go to the race track first
to get a test of the fluky wind we have in the east bay berkeley is kind a like crissy but ad rocks and a freeway and take away the sand

Re: any bet for this weekend ?well at least there was wind at the launch ... quite small i need to admit - the launch - not the wind.
did not get the "race track" reference ... what do you mean ?
Re: any bet for this weekend ?never mind. must be tired.
Re: any bet for this weekend ?in Albany the horse race track just follow your nose to get to the bench
behind the track off gilmen st,lots of room some rocks ,just as funny wind and now ,some locals to share the stoke... Last edited by CdoG on Sun May 31, 2009 9:36 am, edited 1 time in total.
Re: any bet for this weekend ?If you don't see any kites in the air at pt emery, chances are that there are much better and safer places to kite. The possibility of having to swim in is pretty high if you don't know what to look for and the rocks + road, followed by a freeway just sucks.
