the first two years are the best in my opinion. I wish I could turn the clock back and start all over again. I envy you.

come on Jeff. You serious? I agree, there is a certain excitement to learning how to ride, but now that you're good, i'm not sure it can hold a candle to being able to just go out there and huck stuff. granted, learning new tricks is wayyy harder (it takes 2 sessions to learn a back roll and 2 seasons to learn a back mobe)

Im going to probably try to pick up my kite this weekend at KWS in alameda, Maybe they will show me the basics on how to kite over there. I will be at the 3rd upper launch during the weekdays and hopefully will be able to fly it by the weekend after so I can start lessons. Soooooo jealous of the people kiting in 3rd ave when I see them flying across the water. Thanx guys for he advice. Any of you guys do the 3rd ave? or is everyone at alameda?

Bottom line: You can never be TO prepared to take a lesson.
