New Litewave Patent Pending and website online

Post by litewavedave » Fri Mar 06, 2009 10:51 am

Please have as look at the all new http://www.globekites.com and the new http://www.litewavedesigns.com

We have a totally new foot system that is patent-worthy (pending). I figured out a way to make footstraps/plates truly easy to put on your board. I'll be showing it at the Live2Kite party tomorrow. Evan is the first dealer in the USA to be selling the 2009 "Hybrid Lace-Up"

Also, just got in the new Spirit board. Wood core with "no foam fillers".

How are the new Hybrid lace up compare to the competition Cabrinha sync bindings?

Only similarity really is the 'lace up'.

Big difference is the way it attaches to the plate and board. The footstrap part attaches to the pad part independently of the screw making it super easy to install. No pressure on the screw. The footstrap attaches to the footbed with 5" long velcro on each corner that hangs down and goes through 4 slots in the footbed and then comes together underfoot in a triple-overlay velcro like a surf leash. This is the 'patent-worthy' part. Nobody's ever done it in wake, kite, snow, or anything.

You can see the 3 holes in the photo where the screw goes in the plate, then into the board. It's as easy as screwing a wakeboard boot on a board, but still on 6" centers....not 8" like a wakeboard plate.

One other big difference with the Hybrid-Lace-Up is the fact that we use velcro between the inner/cushy layer and the outer/lace-up layer. This lets you vary the size from mens 9-13 and also lock it in place so that the inner does not move around while you're in it or entering it.

I'll show you at the party.

Looks like NICE product Dave,
Good Job!

I look forward to seeing you again at the party.
Around 7:00- 8:00 we will be discussing Sherman Islands new KitePark toy's. This might prove a nice way to help get your name on some equipment designed/built for the Nor-Cal kite community.. Company's who invest in this equipment will receive billboard space in recognition of their contribution to this developing playground.
Enjoy-
