Post by jjm » Mon Apr 11, 2005 4:13 pm

Does anyone have a photo of Alameda at low tide that clearly show the rock wall/pipes?

Thanks,
Josh

Josh,

I belive Bob and Silvia have some photos of this and Bob mentioned that he wanted to post them, so I'll try and get them from Bob.

Bob, can you email them to me at info@bayareakiteboarding dot com?

I got a ton of photos from a major minus tide two years ago...
Obvious why you do not ride between the flags when the square post is showing four inches,.
And it is real clear why that marker you put down is so valuable Charlie.
Those buried stakes are killers!
The pics are on Sylvia's machine so as soon as she is done analyzing the weather....

Did she finish analyzing the weather yet, Bob? I'm anxious, even though I am ready to drive to SI tomorrow, if necessary. Yes, I should stay away from the flag area for sure. Josh, I think you can check that harzard when the tide is really low. I had a bad cut on my foot before.

Depends on the wind. Stay tuned. :P

well having said so, if I don't see anything happening by 1-2 p.m. at Alameda, I may drive up to Sherman. I can't really say at this point. Kiters' destiny?

OK
It is up to Ollie now.
I sent him four pics of Alameda at looooowwww tide.
A view from the water just outside the outer marker
A view of the tower from the beach
A couple of details of the ragged board grabbing ankle busting rocks.

BTW Two kite lines away from the beach at High Tidemeans riding outside of the inner flag.

Have a kick butt day y'all!
