Hey all,
Throw your ideas into the mix. What kind of social kiteboarding events or mixers would you like to see? A BBQ at the beach or Delta, a evening warehouse party? Anything else? What interests you? Kiteboarders tend to be fun-loving people, so let's hear what yout think!

Sherman Island Iron-Newbie
Ollie,
When I was learning to kite last year at SI I used to leave my bike down by the power lines. I'd launch at Little Baja, downwind to the spot where my kite was, self-rescue, stash my gear in the bushes, then bike back to my truck.
Thing was, I found out that biking back to Little Baja was more work than kiting downwind. On a stiff wind day, you might as well be riding up a steep hill.
I thought it would be a good race -- a downwinder from the beach, then bike back to the parking lot.
If you wanted to get really hardcore, you could downwind to Windy Cove, and bike back to Sherman from there. That would really separate the men from the boyz.
