I ask because I do not want to store or haul around a 11' long board plus it's not practical for traveling with either of my vehicles. I dont understand why more companies don't make SUP boards that break down into two or three pieces.
Also, could someone explain why the are so damn expensive?! The core material is cheap and fiberglass is also cheap; nothing like the balsa/PVC foam/carbon fiber we find in kiteboards.

Maybe because the inflatable boards are still relatively new and still has a small market?
A few years ago, I was seriously looking at Pope Bisect boards, the price kept me from buying one, price has not gone down to date because collapsible boards have not caught on the market.
jason, me and you dude, we out of luck for those inflatables: as they say:: "if properly inflated.... it CAN support 200 pound rider" - or can not. . . i'd rather be kiting . .
