Should be a good day today on the coast, 3rd & @ crissy......

"THE SFO-SAC GRADIENT HAS REVERSED FROM WEAK OFFSHORE YESTERDAY TO WEAK ONSHORE THIS MORNING. AND...MODELS FORECAST ONSHORE GRADIENTS TO STEADILY INCREASE DURING THE DAY. THUS...TEMPS WILL BE COOLER TODAY...BUT MAINLY NEAR THE COAST. BUT THE AMOUNT OF COOLING EVEN AT THE COAST MAY BE SMALL IF THE SEABREEZE HOLDS OFF UNTIL MIDDAY WHICH SEEMS LIKELY"

Good winds, Zeev.

Zeev,

What's your call for Saturday? Maybe you can give Mike Godsey a run for his money. Looks like he's back in town for the iKite forecasts.

So if you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy....

Mike is a very good interpeter of the data, I have tremendous respect for him.

Having said that, it will be fun to play "kite roulette"....I place $50 on the SI spot"....oh yeah, and what does a guy need to do around gere to get a refill for his screwdriver????

While driving back from the coast today, it was easy to see the front approaching the north part of our state. The ridge that produced those sweet coastal winds is breaking down and moving east......Some low clouds are starting to form.

net net: Rio should have some silid wind tomorow....not raging, but solid. The coast could be good, but it's less certain then last 3 days. I think that penisula sites will be gusy due to sw influence of incoming energy......

Crissy and Berkley will be ridable. Tides are an issue @ Crissy - flood at wrong time of day...Berk will be, Berkley. Good for light kids, not big boyz....

If I was kiting tomorow (I'll be in tahoe skiing) I would hit SI for the not too early ebb session.....

Good winds, Z.

PS - the coast was sweet 12m conditions with nice mellow swells. Love that shit!!!! Love to smack them lips.

Towards the end of our session I Had a great shot of Gabe Brown killing it......I was heading out on my reach through a nice shoulder high set of waves. I see a speck of person starting his ride...I bear off to give him what I thought was plenty of space.....

. He came out of my perifiphiral vision, looping his VERY green kite, and .....going down the line like a devil....smack, loop kite, big turn, in the critical section, carve, smack....loop the kite, repeat 3 times........ He was getting closer and closer......I bared off some more to give him space to enjoy and lowered my kite..........we got close enough to see the whites of his eyes...........sick

He rode it like no tomorrow, and at the end of a great three turn run, smacked the lip throwing a sweet slow motion toe side back loop with one hand on the bar....wish that I had a helmet cam rolling for that ride+transition....nice combination of style and flowing movement...., it was sweet. It would look great in the next Windreels movie covering the sick bay area places to ride......

Good riding brother. Love that shit!!!!!! the only thing more fun that having an epic session, is sharing it w/your friends!

"Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste.....
I shouted out who killed the Kennedy's, well after all, it was you and me....
Hooo, hooo.......""

Lip smaker

where to kite tomrow

I was kidding of course....If I were to kite on Sat I would drive south on the coast and bag another coast session.....Sherman will rage all summer long....

There will be kiting on the coast. SI could shut down if the front moves over us too fast.

Later, Z.

Thanks Zeev...that was one of my funnest waves of the day.

You were killing it on the new Amundson board. While I come flying down the line in tru "twintip" fashion, Zeev is linking together nice bottom and top turns on that sick new little directional he's got...great day!

Canm't decide whether to go back today or get a nice mellow Rio session...you're probably right though...Rio blows all summer.
Gabe Brown
sometimes Gary Bronson...
