Yes, today was fun! =D> I worked like crazy all morning to try and get enough done to go kiting in the early afternoon. It was windy all day today! I was feeling good enough to go for it and I was lit at Alameda for a couple hours on a 10m Outrage and could have easily flown the Rage II 8, which I wish I had with me. The session was actually therpeutic for the 'ol foot, but I still took it easy. Tomorrow might bring more of the same!

Windy everywhere - coast

Post by Wave rider » Mon Mar 28, 2005 9:43 pm

The coast was pumping today. I was wound on an 8m kite. the waves were medium size, head high, and VERY close together - short period. Made for very intersting riding as windsurfers and kiters were VERY close to each other.

Some impressive riding was going down, as Jonah Lepak held class for waveriding: just ripping the wave to shreds with his homemade directional boards. His riding is so inspiring: no one hits the lip harder then he does. he was wound on a 6m kite.

Great day!!!

Good wind + waves, Zeev.

Zeev,

Nice going, bro! I trust you've still some flexibility in your schedule at the moment? Excellent. It was positively on and nuking most everywhere today. It sounds very cool to have watched Jonah. After all, he is the reigning champ of the Waddell contest!

Maybe I'll catch up with you on a Bay session when you're not coast-bound.

How come no one is kiting at Alameda... is it too gusty or is it too much wind? If I could only instantly be there kiting, right now. I hope someone will kite today. :-)
