Looking for kiting mentors and or budddies

Post by WindAufWasser » Thu Jul 10, 2008 11:36 pm

I'm new at kiting, started two months ago. Looking to focus on kiting solely so I don't carry bad techniques from windsurfing to kiting. I'm looking for mentors/buddies in kiting.

Dig up one of the numerous threads on this site about learning at 3rd ave, which as a location I'm sure you're fine with since you brought up Coyote (btw, just don't go there).

Sounds to me like you need to take some boat rides up to Kitopa' and get some more kite time before dealing with beach time. Get one of the crew to ferry you up, ask for a launch and then you've got around 2 miles to get it togather before you need to land.
NOW on the other hand, if your actually an "attractive" 26 year old WOMEN (sorry for the assumption, but you did say something about emotional support) and you want me to hold your hand while we kite,.. (wink-wink) maybe we can work something out..
(if your a bro- sorry mate! My BAD!.. It's a dog eat dog world- hope you can swim...)

Have fun!!

yeah, downwinder from kiteopia. i know edge kiteboarding runs them . . .as do others i'm pretty sure. 2 miles of nothing but steady wind and warm water will get you riding for sure.

Hey, my brother in-law's neighbor, Roland, some of you Sherman local fishermen probably knows him, told me over the weekend that park rangers were looking for a lose alligator at the delta, is that true?
