The LMG system of content severity.

Post by windhorny » Thu Jun 12, 2008 10:05 am

In liu of the past few charged topics, I thought of a system that goes beyond smiley faces. it seems often, without a voice behind the words, it is often impossible to know how serious someone really is in their postings, so...

based off of LMG's patented system of signature content severity, or S.C.S.

forgive me Greg, I will use your name as the example here.

Name_________________Meaning

Limme,G, LMG: Light hearted, playful, all is good.

Greg: might be something serious here

GREG: watch out.

GREGORY BOYINGTON: Take this very very seriously!

With this patented system, there can be no confusion whether or not someone is joking or F'in serious as a heart attack.

Greg, I am really hoping you dont take this negatively. Actually, as I am normally joking around, there is substance behind the idea. point being that there is often NO way to tell the context of words without a voice behind them. Those of us with a dry sense of humour, need this the most.

What about using the middle name as the ultimate? Example:

"You are either with us or against us"

George W. Bush

I still use those for now -> :)

In the state of NOW- the milk is always fresh and good.
In the program of N.A. (I'm a drug addict, for those thats don't know me personally) we'd say, "With a foot in yesterday and a foot in tomarrow your in a perfect position to ---- on today".

So much is lost in the written word, our limited vocabulary alone is a poor substitute for that look in the eye of another in true communication. For this reason I sign differently based on personal significance..
Greg, I am really hoping you dont take this negatively
think about this statement.. read the topic.. finished without .. (ANY NAME) Think about the concept of "DRY" before the word humor..
What is the intent?? Does it matter?? Do we really want to be understood or just heard??
