Did you have to wait for the wind to die? Otherwise, the PL would just stay up there right? :)

Wait for wind to die, it was blowing!! Dave came over with kite lines and piece of coral and 25 tries later, got it!! Hawaiin slinghot get-em!! :shock:It was a humble experience..

Those pictures are fantastic! Probably the best place to learn.

I see that this school also uses BEST's latest 3m inflatable kite "Guroo". Unlike the foil crap that beginners have to buy for practicing, this kite is for schools only and not available for sale. This kite is by far the best for total beginners - I am very jealous, lucky you.

They are very stable, with good low end pull. 3m-14m sizes available to the public? I'm not sure, they get to demo all the latest gear. Then sell em to the public, and buy all new every 4 months. Hit em up

Foil crap? The foils are cheaper than tubes, donít blow up when you slam them in the ground, and teach you the same kite control if not better. What is so crap about them? Those tiny tube kites will only teach you another skill that transfers to a big kite: How to pump. Not a big deal, especially today with one pump :)
