I figured I'd mooch off this topic. I'm taking a break from house shopping tomorrow and sunday and really need a kite fix. I was thinking stintson/bodega as looking the most favorable. Anyone have any info on good wind this weekend?

EDIT:
I may give Sherman Island a try. NOAA calls for mid teens with possible 20s, which is always conservative.

Hey Jason, where are you getting that forecast for SI? Everything I read says light NW winds tomorrow.

This is what I use, and it was good 95% of the time last season. It was only bad because it blew harder than they claimed.

Hmm, SI is tempting with a forecast like that. Thanks Jason.

I'm taking Kevin and Tyson flying with me later this morning. We'll have a look at the area before I drive out to SI.
Edit:
I just looked and its going off at Pismo today, 15-25 w/ gusts to 30 and a small craft advisory. Tis the season.

Have fun flying. Tell Tyson and Kevin I say "HEY!" I miss those guys. Can't wait for the Sherman season to start up again. I miss all the regulars.

I'll keep an eye out on the forecast today, too. The coast looks promising right now. I'll take anything. I need it!
