To make things more fun, Tahoe is going to get slammed with snow, shweet!!!!! Conservative estimates call for 1-2 feet above 7000 (I think we will squeeze more out then forecast). Two feet on top of rocks - brutal. Two feet on top of groomed runs, good times. No matter what, great to get snow before the holidays rush period.

The storm has the perfect set up of a strong low pressure sitting just west of Aracata CA, and a plume of moisture extending all the way to HI - ideal set up for major snow event.

I just love it when La Nina, that shy bitch, shows us a glimpse of her goodness....bring it on girl.....we want a full on lap dance

Paul - I would not trust the weather forecast that it's gonna go off shore that quick....they frequently over forecast this, and you can squeeze 1/2 more good days of solid wind.....your milage may vary, depending on your driving habits.

No matter where you choose to play - melted liquid in ocean, baything, frozen liquid of Tahoe - just.......

Today was a dud on the SC coast; if you missed it, you saved some gas money.

I guess HMB and points north were kiteable (apparently someone was kiting at Pacifica), but the clouds never really cleared further south.

If the sensor is right, Dillon was the place to be today. Note to self: always check the Satellite image before heading out to WC, even if the sensor is reading in the 20s.

Keep your fingers crossed that the clearing winds don't blow themselves out during the night...
