I checked the windfinder.com sight for Bodega Bay this am. Current wind readings were 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph. I then switched over to Ikitesurf.com, and the wind readings were at 4 mph.

I got to thinking, the windfinder.com wind gauge must be a buoy way, way off-shore.

Bodega/Tomales did get wind this afternoon between 1-3 pm.

The Windfinder.com site is forecasting sailable wind for next weekend in Bodega/Tomales.
