Yes that is right I paid the $340!
I could not agree more with Mayhem: Grossly stated kiteboarding is about 80% flying the kite, 20% boardskills...thus the better you are at flying the "trainer" kite; ideally blindly...which will get you up on the board so much faster...
Check out the locations, talk to the people, and see what works for you!
