The white bridle is the safe bridle and not the red one? Well that definately helps.

Yep and connect your static line to the knot inside the stopper ball. Now it makes sense!!!!

Check valves??

Post by jowall » Sun Jan 09, 2005 1:42 pm

I received the kites and installed the SAFE bridles. Thanks for the pointers. BTW, it looked like there are check valves on every strut (even the 17M). Do yours have them? Do they only activate w/really high pressure?

They are the ball check valves, and yes the are on every strut. I love them no more pinching the valves to mess with the nipple. When your done a simple pinch and out comes the air. I hated the 03 fuel, I could never get enough air in the struts for the 9m. To activate them pump up the strut and turn it over pull out the pump nozzel and presto no pinching. Can't wait to get my kites in the air. jowall did you get the rage 2 or the outrage???

I didn't see wind today. Yesterday there was wind, but the graph was all over the place. I'd hate to pack up drive out to Alameda and find it changed off shore or even worse died. I have spent many days sitting on the beach in Alameda waiting for wind. In a couple of months things will be more regular.....I hope
