I was out there on Tuesday and there were easily waist high + waves with troughs and bigger just beyond the bouy. I was out there for a bit and it was insane. Some of the highest jumps i have ever done as well as seriousl swells to carve on. Didnt feel at all like the normal Alameda. On the beach the sand actually hurt it was hitting your legs so hard blowing around.

Hehe. You said "waves". You need to go west more.
If those are "waves", we've had "waves" at Sherman all week.
Still, that sand blowing is pretty impressive. Looks like OB on a nukin' NW day. Need to wear a dust mask.
Too bad that it wasn't even blowing hard enough to kite at OB on Tuesday.
