Cold!

Postby OliverG » Sun Dec 26, 2004 4:00 pm

From 10AM to 1PM kiters were well outnumbered by poleboarders, but everyone had fun. There might be some folks who showed up for the afternoon shift as it's still blowing.

Was very gusty and up and down, but it's to be expected at this time. Hell, I'm not complaining. After a solid 3 hours onon an 11m, my feet are still kinda numb and hands are pink, but I should recover! :drinkers:

We'll see what tomorrow brings!

Should have got up earlier

Postby pipedragon » Mon Dec 27, 2004 12:37 pm

I should have got up earlier but they need to get the Alameda Cam working again too. I never know if I should make the drive or not.

The Alameda camera will be down until March at least.
So if you want the winter winds you will need to adapt your decision making.

Hehe, if you want it bad enough, you'll be there. ;)
We've been keeping a pretty close eye on things here, so you can usually get the latest here. Be sure to check all the weather resources here also:

Lots of great resources there, including real-time Alameda info...
