Internet Speed booster?

Post by pipedragon » Wed Dec 06, 2006 3:07 pm

Not sure if anyone has seen this yet or tried it. Works really well especially for this site. Only issues I have seen is on my laptop at wireless hostspots and hotels but other then that itworks good and it is easy to setup and free.

Instructions at www.opendns.org

Basicaly the big wig Internet providers use DNS to slow down certain sites. So when you go to Bayareakiteboarding.com they slow it down.

When you use opendns settings your ISP does not know where you are going so it can not slow you down. Prety clever!!
