And Godsey writes...

"If it (the center of low pressure) continues eastward, the surface North Pacific High will compact more isobars along the coast and the NW winds will really ramp up this afternoon. There is a very good chance the NW winds will make it to the beach since the pressure gradient towards the Central Valley is rising."

Pray for wind!

Yup, you were right. Skimmed it, slashed it, jumped it, spun it. ZH-16 though.

Yuri,
You could always pull out your bag of foils and practice beach jumps a few hours a day..
Good luck with the eyes Bro,
Greg

Well guys,

Don't forget, if the wind does happen it is calling for North Winds and to me the best place will be Folsom.

Here is a great link for up to date / hourly weather..

http://www.folsomlakemarina.com/daily.htm

It will show you the wind every 20 minutes...

It is now up to 8 and if it hits 12 I will be out the door with my 16m

Hope to see you all out there...

Tomorrow's going to be a better North wind day, but they're backing off from 10-20 to 5-15.

forecast is for 80 degrees, too.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.
