Hello,
I am new to kiteboarding and just bought a 12m 2006 Turbo Diesel which is a flat/bow kite.
Could anyone show a newbie how to setup and provide some basic tuning tips? I do not plan to fly the kite but just would like to see how the rigging/tunning process is like.
I plan to take a full lesson in Alameda in a week and a half.
Thanks.
Peter
ps: I live in Sunnyvale.
Need help on a new 2006 kite

thx
L.M.G, Windhorny,
Thanks for your replies.
I will indeed take a full 3 hours private lesson this upcoming Saturday in Alameda with Boardsport because safety is the #1 priority for me.
I have flown the FlexiFoil kites (6.4m and 7.8m) 2 lines for over a year so I am comfy with flying kites.
What I am less comfortable with is all the rigging, safety loops and specific rigging tips that comes with an inflatables.
I will only fly the SS Diesel Turbo *after* my lesson this Saturday.
As I said, what I need help on is the rigging/tuning with an inflatable.
L.M.G, would you be in Alameda this Sat (providing it's windy)? Should I ask for the "quite guy" or for "L.M.G"?
Thanks beforehand,
Cheers,
Peter
