Wind update

Post by zgur » Wed May 31, 2006 7:57 am

If you wan some wind, head east to sherman. It's going to be good there for the next few days - through Friday. As close to 100% as it gets in weather world.

With this setup, even Larkspur will be working today for the Marin crew.

Berk and Crissy should also be good, depending on fog lines.

Peninsula and further west gets better on the weekend, Crissy will improve with wind at the launch.

Get some, Z.

Hope you're right Z. It's not as warm in the valley today as Ikite guys seem to think.

Using the Charlie-O-meter: I'm not even sweating yet and it's 12:30. It started out hot, but it cooled off a bit mid-morning (which is wierd).

Still, NWS Sacto seems to think the Delta breeze is going to get going, too. But the graph for today doesn't look too promising yet. No rush to get to the launch, anyway.

I think I'll bring my 17M, just for good luck :?

2 pm -- DB kicks up
4 pm -- I'm outta here.

Yes it looked good on the graph. I think your sonic would have been loving it. I missed it. Snapped my sheeting line yesterday and had to play doctor with my bar. I'm now good to go. Hope tomorrow give up some wind.

I was wondering where you were, Dewey. You were about the only weekday regular missing from the fun... I figured you had been and gone by the time I got on the water.
