After checking all the weather forcasts, current conditions and all other data, nothing leads me to believe there will be gale force winds at Crissy... this might just be a freek forcast by NOAA...

I guess I will just have to wait and see...

Please let us know how it was if it does happen.

Love seeing white caps across the bay to Angel Island. If I didn't have a meeting at 9am I would have been out @ Crissy. Anyway love seeing Gale when she stops in for a visit!

Angel Island Cam (Too bad its pointed on the wrong side..)

Gotta love it

you gotta love it when you see this in the weather discussion "ANTICIPATE GUSTY WINDS IN THE SFO BAY THIS AFTERNOON AS THE ONSHORE GRADIENT INCREASES TO 4 MB." That should put a :) on your sun tanned faces......

Crissy is jamming with wind right now. TI is going off. Looks like a good afternoon for bay area kiters....I bet larkspur will be good also.

Get some, Z.

hey flat-water:

Does anyone ever do dawn patrols at Crissy? I've been tempted, but think the buddy system is a must.

John..

Nope No dawn patrols yet but today would have been a good time to do it! Slack tide and plenty of wind hard to get both before noon. You should give me a ping if it looks doable.. I'm up for it!! - Just doesn't happen that often at Crissy.

Buddy system is good - I don't consider my cell phone a good alternative - Phone has a hard time launching a kite.

As Charlie noted - the Fog is going to mess up the normal launch time program.

Gale warnings on the bay are usually a total bust. But today they got it right! I rode an 8M in the east bay.
