Miracle March: Best demo's new Waroo at Utah Skyline Snow Masters.

While many were gearing up for spring last month, Mother Nature had other plans.

Many of the colder winter climates in the USA saw warm, windy days in February. There was even a handful of solid, wave kiting days on the west coast. Just when we all thought the season was upon us, Mother Nature brewed up her best in the Pacific, sending rain, hail, lightning and snow across the country. Places near sea level in California received up to a foot of snow during one particularly cold week. The systems have continued to roll across the country, rejuvenating the snow kite season.

Well, Best Kiteboarding was not going to let the new snow go un-ridden. We packed up the new Warooís and headed for Park City, Utah.

The snow has been unreal and the wind delivers on an almost daily basis. Weíve ridden different locations within a half ñhour drive everyday and everyone is getting dialed in on the Waroo and Best Snow Kite Board. 40 ft. airs are becoming standard for the boys and 8 to 10 second hang-times are becoming second nature. The Waroo is unreal in the snow ñ the extended de-power allows for more confidence and better control and the re-launch makes the Waroo as easy if not easier to fly in the snow than even a foil. We are here until March 31st and weíre having a blast. Salt Lake and Park City local Kiters have been queuing to get a ride on the New Waroo over the last few days and their reactions are identical to those who have tried the Waroo on water ñ Totally stoked!

The Snow Kite Masters is going off this weekend at Skyline and Best will be there offering demos and clinics should anyone be interested. Come try our new Kite Specific, Twin-tip snowboards and the Waroo. You will discover that you only need one quiver of kites for snow and water and that the Waroo fits just about anyoneís style on any surface.

If you would like to contact us about riding conditions, schedule or just to chat about snow kiting, feel free to email gabe@bestkiteboarding.com You may also check for updates at www.bestkiteboarding/snow

Most importantly, donít miss this Miracle March; it only comes once a decade.

More to come on that tomorrow....

For now, I'm just enjoying the Waroo in the soft snow of Utah.

Yeah, I forgot about all those days when Gabe was out on the HF and his skim and the rest of us were sitting around waiting for enough wind to pump up. I got so used to seeing him on the TW.
