Seattle get's some of the smoothest wind in the Northwest. In mid summer it's warm air and water. Lot's of other stuff to do.
The best I visited there was Jetty island in Everett about 30 miles north of Seattle. You have to take a 2 minute ferry ride to the island and then walk two minuted to the other side but it's sweet 15m fan wind.
Check out pictures of the place here

Nice! Again, I was not far from there either. Funny that it's in Everett. For Seattle locals, there a saying or joke or something about Everett. I'll have to tell you later....
With all the ferries and islands, it's true, there is so much other stuff to do there, like hike to Pyramid Peak above Lake Crescent on the Olympic Peninsula:
Or check out the sunset down on the lake:

Sweet pictures Ollie,
At Jetty island you are actually looking at Mt. baker while you're riding...pretty inspirational. Wish I had actually done some of those things up there...just kited, had lunch with some family and did the dowtown tourist thing. Thhen it was off to the Gorge. I spent 6 months on the road and there are definetly some places that I wish I had spent more time in...had to see it all though :-)
