Mammoth Kiting

[Eastside Kiter]

I'm just learning to ride (never kiteboarded before going to snowkiting), and have a place over in Mammoth Lakes. There's good terrain out my back door, and I've seen postings elsewhere about Smokey Bear Flats (along 395 between Deadman Summit & Mammoth), and Green Church Road, but not much more info on the East Side. If anyone's kited there, I could use any info you can pass along.

Ozone Kites will be doing a demo day on Saturday January 14th in the Mammoth area. Probably near Deadman Summit. I will be there with two other Ozone representatives and a fleet of demos. I will update with details this week.
