Aside from the tahoe area, the bay area cameras are useful too. This is streaming video and not choppy still cam type stuff. Wish I had high speed internet where we stay, would love to be able to check realtime traffic conditions to judge when to leave for home.

In the Bay Area, you can call 511 on your cell phone and find out exactly how long it will take you to get from one place to another at a given time. It all works on FastTrak transponders.

Looks like the snow level has finally come down past lake level, huh. I'm planning on hitting the snow on Sunday -- hope it stays cold until then.
