Kite Bag Evolution

Post by andyandmarlys » Mon Dec 05, 2005 8:35 pm

just got done taking a look at the new slingshot kite bag that comes with the diesel..

Looks almost like a soft pack backpack... Zippers on the sides, nylon synch straps and even hip straps... You could load this up and hike into the montians if you need to. Nice pockets too..

Good Job Slingshot....

Only problem I see is that it might be more of a liability on the beach since it looks like an $80 backpack....

That's cool. What would be awesome, but probably result in stolen bags would be if Timbuk2 was the OEM manufacturer for the kite bags. You can even build your own!

Check out the bags of Frenzy and its friends. They are built for kite skiing, where you sometimes have to hike a distance in the snow. Good quality straps, place for snowboard and skies, good quality fabric, itís a real technical backpack.

From what I remember, Yes.... I don't have the new octane or fuel in the shop right now, and never really got a chance to look at the bag closely... until we got the turbo diesels in a few days ago
