just got back from alameda, pretty cruel kiting in the rain and not really being able to see the chop, like kiting blind.

This morning was OK and fun the annual rite of passage and entry into true winter kiting, rain and all.

3 of us were out and had good fun for a bit over an hour an 12's and a 13, but then were all overcome by a substantial squall type event occuring around 11:30 (see graph) causing us all to migrate back toward shore and resulting in the pulling of safety releases by all out of need.
