Went to Alameda Sunday to checkout the scene. Would've been a great time to get in the water ... if I had everything I needed with me!
Went yesterday afternoon also, in hopes of finding wind. Not enough wind to ride, but tide was low so I was able to see the floor and the awesome lack of hazards! So, not a complete loss.

Hate to tell you CaptChris but the season is over. There will be storm wind days ahead at Alameda but those days aren't for beginners. See you in the Spring.

I've heard that from many people. However, Sunday the wind was stable and there were a couple beginners out who weren't yet able to ride.

saturday and sunday were EXCEPTIONAL.
we usually don't get this at the end of october.
I agree with schwed.
It's the end of the season. Waiting for storm season now.
