Were the kites stolen from Ocean Beach? Did they break a window or find a key? I have heard that people watch as you go out there, specifically where you put your hide-a-key, then go steal shit from your car or take your whole car. A friend of mine had some stranger (happened to be a younger transient African American man) come up to him asking if was interested in a kite and go-pro that his "friend had given him". My buddy declined to humor the guy and politely told him he wasn't interested. When we came back in on from kiting for 20min. on Sunday (nuclear day) I noticed my kite bag had been rummaged through. Nothing was stolen as I just had a pump in the bag. I keep my key on me at all times, especially at OB. Stinson is a much different story.

Sorry to hear about your kites, I would be SO PISSED! Good luck in finding them. I want to set up a sting on the beach when I hear about this shit. Bait-Kite!!

Sorry to hear that. How did you lose it? We should set up a go-pro in a car parked in front of some gear that looks "unattended".

I don't kite over there, but would be happy to make the trip just to beat the crap out of the kid.

Maybe I will bring my waterboard for some interrogation.

mine just fell off after a 3 hour strapless session more than a month ago with 8 hours of recording from all over. probably washed a shore and never made it back :( i really hope you get your gear back bro
