Lost liquid force KiteFish - Alameda May4

Post by sanjose_kiter » Mon May 06, 2013 11:29 am

Folks.

There 're a lonely Liquid Force Kite Fish out there in the Alameda bay somewhere.
I lost that Fish after the wind went from 15 to 0 and was too busy to self rescue my weary a.. back to the beach.
If you happened to come by the Fish or heard about it somewhere , please let me know .
It got my name and phone # written on the bottom.

Mucho Gracias and rewards available.

Yeah, I recovered the criminal jester TT a day later though. However, the wetsuit and boardshort are lost for sure.

btw, Alameda really jinxed me with the weak wind and but I liked the open beach , cleaner water (as compared to 3rd) and less chops in general. Next time there, I am wearing a board leash for sure

Glad you got it back. Now SanJose Kiter I think you are the guy who slaps on so much sun screen you look like silver robot man at Pier 39 right? I will keep an eye out for your board next time when I am at Alameda and I see your kite floating to Bay Farm.

BAK guys/gals are the most hilarious people around for sure. Perhaps it is the kiting that makes everyone so cool haha.

Yeah , watch for my yellow cabrihna & beige/black/orange LF kites when the wind starts to drop please :-)))

btw, I installed 8 footers board leash lines on all my boards now and plan to use it when wind is weak and questionable. If the wind is decent, I can bodydrag to retrieve my board.

Board leash is never recommended whatever the conditions. When the wind drops, you can either use ur leash to attach your board or simply keep it between your legs or under your shoulder. '

Let me step back: Are you going to attach the board while riding or your leashes are there just in case?

+1 for what Ron said.

I always have a spare safety leash in my harness to use on my board in self rescue situations but would never suggest riding with one on, regardless of conditions.
