Lost - 10m Best Kite + board (Saturday - 9/8/12) at 3rd Ave

Hey guys,

I had to ditch my 10 meter Best Taboo kite on Saturday afternoon at 3rd Ave. Probably around 4pm. Ended up getting tangled in my lines, and mistakenly pulled on the leash release once untangled and trying to get back to the bar.

I was pretty far south when this happened, and the last I saw of the kite, it was pretty close to the San Mateo bridge.

If anyone managed to rescue it, or if it ended up on shore, I would be hugely grateful to get it back. Lines, bar, and half a leash should still be attached too... Also lost in the melee was my white twintip board with my friend's name and cell number written onto it.

Have you contacted the coast guard?

If they found it, they'll assume a search for you is necessary so it's always important to let them know about lost boards or kites. Hopefully someone managed to save it though.

I contacted the coast guard, but they did not salvage it. Still hopeful someone from the community found it and will be kind enough to reach our and return it to me.
