Post general kiteboarding discussion topics here!
Alright everyone a week to go and we're well over the half way point; thanks to those who've signed up! I know there are more than 47 kiters on the Peninsula, so to those who haven't bought tickets, we've got a few more incentives. I just picked up some more gear from KGB this weekend, including a hyperflex changing pad, T-shirts, hats, line treatment and surfboard wax. We've also got some huge deals from Ocean Rodeo, like $500 off kites! We're still working on lining up some more goodies, but between seeing your friends, making new ones, watching a sweet movie, and getting a chance at some serious schwag, there's no excuse not to sign up for the show. Keep it coming, hope to see you all there!
Also please feel free to help out on the promotional front! I've reached out to work-kite groups, message boards, surf clubs, and more. If you are members of other forums, clubs, or have friends interested in learning to kite, let them know about the show!
Deadline approaching - let's make the Emeryville show happen!
AMC Bay Street 16, February 27 8:30PM: A good option for east bay and city folks, this theater is easily accessible by BART.
Currently as of Feb 13th (deadline: Feb 20th):
Palo Alto show: 31 more tix needed to make the event happen
Emeryville show: 53 more tix needed to make the event happen
C'mon East Bay - the South Bay guys and gals are killing us! Do NOT make me drive to Palo Alto to see this movie!
With 49 more people to go, I'm ready to call it quits on the East Bay show and make a move for the Palo Alto show on Wed 2/26. The Palo Alto show still needs 24 more bodies.
Landmark Aquarius, February 26 8:30PM: It's right next to a Cal Train stop in the heart of downtown Palo Alto.
