Fun slalom in Playa Central, La Ventana

But, kiters getting it handed to them by windsurfers. Some world class windsurfers though, against only Adam W on an actual slalom board. The rest of us were on twin tips and surfboards.
I tried both tt and surfboard. Faster on tt, but mostly because of faster jibes, and riding heal on both tacks. My jibes on surfboard are too unreliable to switch feet in traffic and chop, so I was riding heal-toe.
Maybe looking for a slalom board in future, if slalom picks up in the bay area. But I see a lot of liability issues - there were several tangles in 6 races, but no damage.
Looking at gps data - I was hitting close to 30 on faster tacks; windsurfers were probably hitting 35.
