I'm interested in purchasing an F-One Bandit 6 and pairing it with the North Trust Quad Bar because I'm not a big fan of F-One's release system. I was told by a shop that it was no problem but I just wanted to confirm with some experts before I pulled the trigger.
Thanks!
Thanks!

It does work well together, you might need to make a loop instead of a knot (either on the kite side or on the bar side, I don't remember), you'll figure it out, it's straight forward.lbpalmer wrote:I'm interested in purchasing an F-One Bandit 6 and pairing it with the North Trust Quad Bar because I'm not a big fan of F-One's release system. You're aware F-One now has a new release mechanism for 2014, right? No more Velcro...

Great video tutorial Kirk! Do you personally like the F-One Bar now that it has been retrofitted? The Bar looks pretty nice and since the safety system has been revised I'm interested in the complete. Thanks so much for all the great information.

I ride F-one Bandits with the North quad bar. Works great.

Re: Bar / Kite compatability
The new f-one bar is super nice and clean.
I personally prefer using the same brand kite and bar together, but it's ALWAYS a huge debate on this forum (almost as big as straps VS. strapless on a directional).
So I'd rather not get into that debate.
If you see me on the beach (pink and blue bandit VII, hard to miss), come and say hi, I'll show you the new system.
Cheers.
